Kate's a little in disbelief that Merida's real, but she knows she's a good shot and has a good heart from what she's seen of her on the big screen. She's a little worried about her apparent hero-worship of Clint, though hopefully his good traits will rub off on her rather than his bad ones.

Well, he's certainly intriguing, to say the least - he's been to other worlds before Atlantis, and from the way he's talking, it's not an 'alien planet' thing. Kate seems to get on well with him.

Honestly? Half the time, Kate can't tell if Loki's making fun of her or just saying things he's made up to save his own ass because he doesn't know what Atlantis has in store, either. Naturally, she has her eye on him.

Yeah, no, Kate'd be lying if she didn't admit to a little hero-worship going on here. Though she'd always imagined him being a little bit older.

CLINT BARTON/HAWKEYE
Her partner in stopping low-level (and sometimes not-so-low level) crime back home. A little irresponsible at times, but Kate really does look up to him. They tease eachother a lot, but it's all in good fun, and she sees him as a sort of older brother.

NATASHA ROMANOFF/BLACK WIDOW
She has worked with the agent back home and greatly admires her, but Agent Romanoff doesn't seem to know who she is here...
